SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
This theme invites participants to explore how art can inspire peace, unity, and human connection. Rather than simply creating something beautiful, artists are encouraged to use creativity as a way to spread understanding, compassion, and hope.
Through music, painting, film, photography, literature, or any other form of expression, artists have the ability to bring people together and communicate emotions that words alone cannot express. Art can encourage empathy, celebrate diversity, and remind society of the values that connect us all.
This submission should reflect the idea that creativity carries both a social and human responsibility. Artists are not only storytellers, but also voices that can inspire positive change and build bridges between individuals and communities.
At its heart, this theme is about using art to imagine and encourage a more peaceful world—one shaped by understanding, respect, and shared humanity.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
The Role of the Artist in Times of War: When Creativity Becomes a National and Human Responsibility
In times of war, roles shift, certainties dissolve, and questions begin to outweigh answers. Amid such turbulence, art ceases to be a luxury and becomes a human necessity—one of the quiet forms of resistance that preserves meaning and safeguards the human spirit.
The artist, in such moments, is no longer merely a creator of beauty, but a witness to time and a guardian of memory. Wars tend to erase the human dimension behind the noise of numbers and headlines, while art restores the face and the story of the individual. Through a sincere song, a vivid painting, or a powerful cinematic scene, memory is recorded in a way that cannot be erased—because what is felt endures longer than what is merely documented.
Art also offers people a language when words fall short. In moments of fear and loss, individuals may struggle to articulate their emotions, yet they find themselves reflected in a piece of art that speaks on their behalf. In this way, art becomes a shared human space—one that unites rather than divides, and consoles without noise.
In times of war, the artist does not stand at the margins, but at the very heart of the story… for when the world trembles, creativity becomes one of the last forms of stability—an anchor of belonging, and a bridge toward peace.
