Sayyid Khalid began composing at the age of 18 and went on to release his first two songs (titled ‘A Greeting of Love’ and ‘Bright Beakon’) in 1983 airing on Oman TV which was the year of Omani youth.

His most famous composition ‘The Years Glow With You’ is a national song well-known and enjoyed by the wider local community.
