Oman Abrasives LLC is a major exporter of copper slag in the MENA region mainly catering to the quality conscious marine, oil and gas sector industries for surface preparation. Established in 1986, the factory of Oman Abrasives, at Wadi Lasil in Sohar, processes raw material sourced from manufacturers in Japan to produce sand blasting abrasives under the brand name of OMGRIT®. Launched in 1977 the initial Group enterprise was a holding company involved in private and public sector project development as well as in representing some leading international companies including Honda, National Panasonic and Omega.

Sabco HQ is based in Muscat, Oman but our protects and services are in over 80 countries around the world (this is mainly due to Amouage which is sold worldwide.

As a Minister for Diwan Affairs and Special Adviser to His Late Majesty, Sayyid Hamad was passionate in his mission to further the Omani Renaissance. A passion mirrored by the support and encouragement he extended to his sons to set up the Sabco Group which means ‘Sami and Brothers Company.’
